Peace guys. I don’t think it is the religions that are the problem. It is those who are taught and have no capacity to understand the context of the lessons so much that they take them literally.

May be religion need to be taught in simpler language.

I may not agree with the teachings of Islam but I have nothing against Muslims as human beings.

The problem is falsely portraying or suggesting Islam is under attack because that can easily be used to justify terrorism. We've seen Al-shabaab and Taliban use it as an excuse to carry out their attacks.

Some guy gets very annoyed because of some fellow who posts some cartoons. He goes ahead and shoots the fellows.

You come to wazua and post how evil Muslims are for shooting the cartoonist.

Some guy posts some things about a President which get some fellows very annoyed.

You come to wazua and post how good it was that the fellow was arrested and it served him right for abusing a President.

mmmmmhhhhh

I'm very confused.

Don't be.

Illogical, confusing, even Alphdoti-sh, positions are typical in 'terrorism'.

Trying to understand humans is a job Muriel

Lt. Wadi, arrest him, inprison him, he deserves it etc etc. He abused the President.

Sounds exactly like the guys who were shooting people for posting cartoons of the Prophet.

Hata watu hawana msimamo. It depends on the goggles.

It's the consistency of humans to make decisions based on political expediency.

To those characters trying to introduce the actions of Lt Wadi here as heroic, please do your homework before lecturing Wazuans.

Lt Wadi asked for the killing of the President of Kenya and forceful deportation of a community in Kenya.

That is criminal in any civilized society.

@symbols, the only thing you've not seen is that, those terrorist groups e.g. A.l*Q.a.e.da, T.a.l.i.b.an etc are created in the name of Islam. Then, many of these atrocities those groups carry out are attributed to Islam, but when you look deeper you find that it is not really Muslims, but these groups linked back to garments like U*S*

And their activities are used to discredit true Islam teaching.

Which they have succeeded to a large extent!

These are illegitimate tactics, which are not Islamic.

I've seen the cartoons by the French magazine. Terrible! Nobody no matter what deserves to be caricatured like that. It was irresponsible journalism and many media houses in Europe seemed to agree. They even have racist cartoons of black people.

All done in the name of press freedom?

It's someone's pet subject. and the standard unit. How do we compare shootings and a jailing? how? how? how?

Its called a false cause fallacy where you perceive a relationship between distinct values to mean one is the cause of the other by the master of fallacies.
