Can some please clarify (and put a link if possible) if one can be licensed to own a rifle in Kenya because in that case I want an AK 47. I would stand a better chance if thugs break into my house and I have an AK 47 as opposed to a Ceska. People are licensed to carry firearms(an assault rifle is a firearm) and not pistol(Pistol is a firearm too) Firearms Act!Quote:According to the Firearms Act, civilians are not allowed to own automatic and semi-automatic self-loading military assault rifles of 7.26mm or 5.56mm calibre, firearms fitted with sound suppressors, or AK-47s, G3 rifles, MP5s and other similar firearms. http://www.kenyabunduki.co.ke/index.php?src=2aIf Obiero did it, Who Am I?

World over there are specifications of the kind of firearm you can own even in the most liberalized gun loving country - USA. I would be surprised if in Kenya the license is a blank cheque to own uzis, AK 47s, G3, Beretta ARX 160, Close Quarters Battle Receiver, CZ-805 BREN, FX-05 Xiuhcoatl, Galil ACE, Zastava M21, T86, T91, StG 44, SR-3 Vikhr, SAR-21, SIG SG 516, Rk 95 TP, QBZ-95, Multi Caliber Individual Weapon System, M16, ADS amphibious rifle, RPD, Type 67 machine gun, M240, AA-52, Zastava M72 etc. etc. But weka link tuone. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

This is exactly what I was saying!!! There is no way you give a blanket license to own any kind of fire arm. There must be restrictions otherwise you turn the country into a war zone. Even in the gun loving capital of the world, they have restrictions on caliber, type, number of bullets the magazine can hold etc. etc. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Dont worry you will not be given the results. It will be like this.... kesho >>>> Harambee, Thursday >>>> Funeral service, Friday >>>> travel to Ocha with so much politicking, Sato >>>> Burial with more politics. It ends there, after that ukiuliza it becomes a private/family affair! Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune - Jim Rohn.

Yesturday they wanted the postmortem done under natural light.Am sure they have finished as todays light was extra bright. What am almost certain about is that the results show something the family could be ashamed of and so it shall remain a family matter. If at all there was an ioata of foul play..Nairobi haingekalika. But my wish would be they say to truth to clear doubts and enable us take some lessons for our children. Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.

From what I could gather from the firearms on Kenya bunduki, you can own either a shotgun rifle, pistol or revolver. Nothing like AKs
