Security Intelligence Service director
general Brig Wilson Boinett.

What happens to the role of the national police service commission? Aren't they the ones who are supposed to interview suitable candidates for the job?

Have you read the law?

There was an amendment in the section 12 of National Police service Act.
2)The President shall, within
fourteen days after a vacancy occurs in
the office of the Inspector-General,
nominate a person for appointment as an
Inspector-General and submit the name of
the nominee to the National Assembly.

ok. thanks

Wait... What if the Security law is suspended tomorrow?

That's a very sober Comment @washiku you have been unnecessarily critical on every Mtembezi appointment...Kwenda huko!!!!smile smile

..and where is your Friend @alma? I wonder what he has to say about this appointment - Truly deserving guy Boinet is and we wish him well.

Orange house hasn't yet released Nov. and Dec. allowances, that's why.

What the hell is "truly deserving". Ame fanya nini?

Ametoka from the 'right place' and he's related to Boynetti

Let's give him a chance. I didn't know Brig Ali before he was appointed and he proved to be the best

And Boynetti Snr was a serious spy. One of the things he had warned Keffakey was against appointing that civil society guy to state hse. Keffakey thought Johnnie was a friend's son and couldn't do anything

Boynetti's warning came true baadaye!

Happy new year wazuans!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly People got imagination. Very deep imagination. Who can connect me to the Orange house? I wont mind a few extra coins if its as easy as typing a disapproval which nobody may even care about anyway.

If the Act is thrown out, the nomination becomes null.
I can however forsee the problems his predecessor (and Kilonzo) faced. Being appointed to be boss of your previous bosses.
