Reports indicate that McDonald Mariga might be on his way to Manchester City. I hope the deal goes through.

Very good news.....He should be able to get a regular place since he is a utility player....Defensive mid, attacking mid and right flank.......This should also open up opportunity for many more players from EA especially if he makes an impact at City......I hope the mega bucks don't get to his head. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

He's currently waiting approval of his work permit on Monday. Last time the work permit issue skrewed his chances of goin to portsmouth. I hope history wont repeat itself this time round. Am crossing my fingers and toes praying hard he gets the work permit.I wonder if he shall get some from Guiness Book of Records for being the first Kenyan to play feature in the EPL...hmmm ......If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart....

History does repeat itself ! Thanks to Kenya's fifa ranking. Our never ending KFF/FKL/ KPL (which is which) internal wrangles and countless energy at hiring and firing coaches...always has a spiralling effect to all aspects of Kenyan football.Just Thinking about Kenyan football leaves you weary with a incessant throbbing headache.Damn!! Anyway Inter milan is a better club. Will Murinho play him during the Champions league games... ......If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. though Man City is a filthy rich team, inter is a better football team. talk about one door closing and another one opening. wish the best for the boy. he must be something for the "special one" to snap him up like that after the english FA twice denied him the opportunity to play in the premier league. may he get the chance to play against a premier league side in the CL and whup their asses. cant wait for the chelski inter game now. Though careerwise Inter is better than Man-C, my fear is that Mourinho will eternally put the boy on the bench especially if he was not consulted before the signing. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

@mwenza.....forget EPL madness....i also agree that inter i better for him now....let the guy just work harder and all will be fine.....don't forget that Italy is the biggest hunting grounds for the two Spanish giants.....so he could end up in Madrid or Barcelona cities if he plays very well....by the way where is Robinho now after that very high profile move to money citi??.....what happened to seven-chenko at the bridge??...and many more others....let they guy tulia at Serie A for now....my two cents. When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

@bkismat......Problem was that his only visible contribution was a wayward cross into the box and a yellow card to Terry. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

Now that Motta is suspended for the first leg of the Q Final, would Mariga get a chance? :)
