Arsenal played really well on Sato, just hope that form is replicated for the rest of the season.

The cookie actually crumbled much earlier this season only that other teams were struggling (except chelsea)
Key players got injured so early and most will be back in January. Arsenal have relatively easy fixtures in the holiday period and will be much stronger in the run in. Fourth place trophy assured!

Great to see Man Utd back to winning ways. Now if we can sail through to January unscathed then we will start talk of title. Defence still wanting. Next are Villa ........ Newcastle ........Spurs .......... Stoke!!!!

From an interesting article about Arsenal Liverpool yesterday:

Quote:
* 'In The Bleak Midwinter' was the song blaring out of the tannoy an hour or so before kick-off at Anfield, and now it truly should be the winter of discontent for both Liverpool and Arsenal. This was an afternoon on which neither side were winners; the lost art of defending was the biggest loser. At times it was akin to watching two portly, drunk gentlemen fighting outside a pub on a cold night. Both sides lurched forward, swinging from the hip, but were left constantly prone to the risk of either being knocked out by their opponent or slipping on the ice and kneeing themselves in the face. It was equally amusing and enthralling to watch. However, these are two clubs that had title aspirations at the start of the season, managed by two men who consider themselves to be tactically astute. That neither has added any element of obvious steel or resilience to their respective teams is a great shame for supporters, but rollicking fun for the rest of us.

For us it was 2 points dropped...very disappointing result considering the possession and playing against 10 men for around 20 minutes.

But I also blame LvG for subbing Valencia for Wilson and taking Young to Valencia's wing...very ill informed sub.

Evans and Fletcher should never see any more game time in a Utd shirt...

Goon squad played almost as badly as Utd did against Southampton and still got a point...

We lost an opportunity to consolidate 3rd aiming for second. LVG fell tactically short on Sato and showed Villa too much respect! Lets hope @Kularaha boys forgets their scoring boots at London tonight
