I have read through those amendments and I have to say, Githu Muigai is going to beat Guy Muli in creating a police state.
It's all so nice and clever adding the youth bill into the mix so that you can get brownie points. But the fact is, this law is not only going to be draconian, it is the return to the Moi days of Kanu youth wingers and special branch arresting people in a bar and they in turn disappearing.
I think this gov't will outshine Moi in decimating my human rights.
For those who think this will only apply to "terrorists", don't ever forget. Jaramogi Oginga Odinga pushed the detention act. He was the first person to be detained.
