In my opinion he is going to clinch this. There are not going to be elections for the ODM ticket so it basically falls on Baba's preferred candidate. It is not in Baba's interest to alienate people with money and he is one of the financial heavyweights in that region.

Seems ODM is no longer a democratic movement. I was shocked to hear baba say that there won't be any party nominations "because of time" but rather the candidate wil be handpicked. It makes it even more shocking because baba himself really wanted the seat and only chickened out when HB residents protested loudly against him. And now he's back through the backdoor and wants to choose their leader ..... The sooner nyanza deals with this serpent the better, since it is increasingly coiling itself around them and will soon strangle them.

This seat is for 'us' in Suba. We cannot have 2 Governors and a Senator coming from the same sub-County!!!

Exactly @Swenani that's where we go wrong I am sure there are many more peeps who are brilliant,eloquent and "leaders" in their own right when you look at Home Bay as a whole...

Moses Kuria?
Moses kuria went for party nominations, he floored his TNA opponents in a very tough contest and was given a nomination certificate. Then his main rival in TNA defected to another party , and the opponent later chickened out of the race to prevent another defeat. So Moses was never handpicked as is happening in HB.
