Quite regal the launch. But no modems in stock to prove these claims. I hear new iPhone 6 (and other LTE phones) write 4G. Normal catchphrase 'Speeds up to...'

safcom wanajua kutengeza pesa, at those high speeds data bundles won't make much sense, unless kuna ka unlimited in the offing.

Quality of Service is all that is needed. To the best of my knowledge 21Mbps would have served us.Our office connection is 10 Mbps and its shared by 10 users and no one has even complained,Streaming videos, video conferencing and i do have a torrent server.
When i go up country just 35 km from Nairobi even EDGE cannot work.
Now we will have hippies going round bragging about 4G connectivity. If i am not wrong Orange has 42Mbps and that has never worked either.

If you continue visiting the same sites you've been visiting, it will not cost you more. You will only get there faster.

The catch is that with the faster speeds, you'll be tempted to consume more resource intensive services.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

"The places that already have 4G in Kenya include Gigiri, Runda, Buruburu, Lower Kabete, Parkands in Nairobi and Mombasa Island and Changamwe in Mombasa. Safaricom has sights set on March 2015 for complete coverage of Nairobi and Mombasa, by March 2016 there will be coverage of 15 counties and in 36 months the company will have covered all counties."

Word.

If they cannot offer unlimited, maybe offer affordable big packages e.g. 100Gb, 200Gb etc...

siku hizi sites na aps are inteligent, they sense you have better speeds and they serve you with more data consuming services.
lakini 4G is all about super speeds allowing people to stream content, video chats and the likes without any glitches - just like watching the analog tv signal smile. lakini doing that with a gb or 2 or 10 - 20 gbs per month won't cut, especially if the same bundles cost an arm and a leg (ok, at least mimi huona zikiwa expensive)

Safcom is very sly. The project is being funded by GOK in the guise of security cameras.
