Our immigration system has no way of tracking issuance of visa/entries of tourists and the expiry of their visas. This is how criminals including murderers and paedophiles are able to run their activities. Very sad. Surely once you rent a house should the landlord be snooping around to see what you are doing? Even looking into your bedroom to see if there is anything fishy going on in his property? Also how would the neighbours and watchie know what is going on inside the house? once in a while the Landlord needs to check the status of the house and this is clear in the lease agreement. With a keen eye one can tell when something is fishy. You check to ensure 1.Tenant is still there 2.They are not using firewood to cook thus messing the walls in the kitchen 3.The taps and bathroom assesories are intact. 4.No partitions and renovations going on without your permission. This is necessary now when we need to be aware of our surrounding. @Bigchick has said it. The Chineth were smart in choosing Runda cos of the 'privacy aspect' and they probably pay rent quarterly or twice a year so as to avoid frequent contact with the landlord. No one says the landlord should go snooping after taking Faxe but being cautious will be rewarding e.g. have watchies at the residence who can tell you if something is fishy, even simple things like 22 people staying in your house when you only rented it to a family or couple. No one is clearly explaining what these guys with sophisticated equipments were doing. What exactly were they up to? Cyber crime is the buzz word here. What exactly? “Once the last tree is cut and the last river poisoned, you will find you cannot eat your money" Traditional saying.

They were running a call centre, but when the cops saw very many comps and headsets, they immediately concluded they were hackers. You do not need 76 chinese on a site to hack computers but you need 76 for a call centre.
