KRA and logbooks

How long is one supposed to wait after applying for ownership transfer? One annoying thing is that inquiries through their e-addresses go unanswered.Talk about 6th century services!! ..Bure kabisa!!

Where do people do this transfer nowadays? Someone told me KRA isn't involved anymore.

Sure?...I think it's supposed to go to NTSA but was not yet as of 1st October....whichever the case,why would printing of a useless document that proves not much take weeks.There are people in this country who are paid to waste other people's timeSad ...Jinga kabisa!!

I have a similar problem - log book for a new used ride pending for a month-plus now yet its supposed to be released within 3 wks! Ndurikas!

Same case here.I have sent a couple of emails and non has been answered.Their sms service is nothing but empty space.....Okay,someone suggests i walk there and grease my way to that useless paper.HECK NO!!...NEVER!!

Izza guka, don't let this give you hypertension. Mine took about three months some time last year. I was asked to pay around 4k if I wanted it 'chap chap' but I chose not to and waited.

I have a puzzling problem. Got a pickup bu logbook says van, is that f major significance?

Not all pick-ups are vans but yours could be one.

Maybe am lucky.

Got my logbook after 3 weeks.

Received my green registered mail card and rushed to GPO and wow!It was my log book.

I have heard of stories that agents can get a motor vehicle transfer done and present the new log book in a matter of days.

Of course this is done at a "small cost".
Imagine how much KRA can make if they themselves can offer express logbook services at an official extra cost.
