Why?.. End year they will blame it on travel advisories and ebola? India?

Add to that 70% discount on shipping general cargo to Mumbai and Guangzhou till March 2015.

I got the info on Friday check the post above...people who are waiting for new routes to be opened mnaota the company has no money to participate in such a move...They spent 12m on the farewell parties for TN...2 farewell parties for.the bugger misplaced priorities....

Weka link.. Hii inaskika kama porojo. Even with the weed at KQ, I doubt they cld have spent 12milli of shareholder funds for Naikunis party

They did ask your sources...he was given a cow worth 480,000

Are we talking about a real cow?

Would also ask the same question since IEBC also ate chicken, and chicken is way smaller than a cow..

If those hedges were set $90 oil, KQ is sitting in deep red losses! Only when oil price is above that level does it translate to gains for them. I'm not sure if the hedging contracts are still in place. @vvs @obiero are these contracts still live?

KK did well to abandon them after that spectacular hedging loss. Derivatives are not wanjikus child play. Many financial firms are known to play against their clients in these derivative deals!

$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

The CFO of KQ boasted that (overall) KQ has made money from hedges... Why don't I believe him?

Just a few weeks ago, I discouraged the firm from hedging and Ngunze appeared to concur.. Dint go back to my guy in accounts to find out if he cut back on any further positions that had been planned for hedging.. But seriously Naikuni wasnt a real manager
