@Mcreggae,
Chew your fingers!!!..Damn Naija boys.Completely clueless and didn't i tell you man?....No need to bet.It's Egypt all the way.I concur that Halliche's send off was a mistake since the ball was in 50-50 play while the ref should have asked for the penalty to be replayed.Even then,the ref ought to have sent Chaouchi off for head butting him but Codjia kept his cool.Zidan's turn in the box for the second goal was a stroke of genius while the goal of the day was a sumptuous Abdulshafi's left foot first-time strike from a tight angle, after a great little ball from Zidan. ....Your week-end has just began.....lol!!

@Mcreggae,

The black Stars have nothing to match the Pharaohs.....Technically that is....and it might be the first final where 4 goals will be scored by the winning team...Let me predict this too.Egypt will score their first goal inside the first 10 minutes.....As for the "big" one,i just handed you a rope...lol

Ghana indeed have no match. My worry for Ghana has been that while they have a good midfield, and an acceptable defence, they lack a striker that would terrorise defenses. Asamoah Gyan hatoshi.

At least one lesson i have learnt is that we should NOT have any undue expectationso on an african team to progress far in the WC. Our weaknesses have been exposed to the whole world.

Even then, i dont understand why there seem to be two Drogbas. One at chelsea and a different one at cote d'ivoire. How come Rooney of Man-U is the same Rooney of england?

@Mwenza,
You are asking such a basic question....The play pattern a coach adopts contributes alot to team performance.....That is why England are not world champions despite having the best league (Too many cooks spoil the broth)

I think the Ref in the egypt algeria match did a good job. His lines men were always wrong ... always. Ref in this game would have been difficult for anybody. The ref walked in knowing this is more than a football match. It was a sanctioned grudge match that could cause a diplomatic row! The ref was in a pressure cooker and he still managed to keep cool.

AT least we know what to expect at the world cup. Any African country that progresses beyond the group stages will have performed wildly beyond expectations.
