Manutd and Arsenal battling for fourth place. Oh how I miss late 90s and early 2000 when it was all about supremacy.

Boss stick to your lanes, arseno is now not fighting for anything top four, they are officially a mid table team!!!!

Arguably our best performance despite the woeful opposition, cause for optimism. However, shida za kitambo zinaendelea, every time a player comes back another gets injured ( Herrera in, Di Maria Out...Falcao and Rojo back, Shaw out...), seems that will be the pattern for the rest of the season. That said, if we finish Top 4, it won't matter!

Two hard shots, 2 goals for Man City. Lampard scores 2nd on a fast break giving a 10 man Man City a 2-0 lead at Southampton.

Another fast break, Aguero's 2nd assist on the day and Clichy scores his first goal for Man City to make it 3-0.

Arsenal are too good to finish 7th but not good enough to win a major trophy!

LVG asked for 3 months, things are looking up, now Southampton needs to get to their place, after Citeh, they face arseno and then United!!!

6 points ahead...meaning City have to win every game and we need to lose 2 in a row for them to draw even.

I also thought Chelsea will win the title by March 2015 but seems it will be a battle all the way to the end. Its unbelievable that Manutd is number 4 at the moment hsving gone through very tough games in a row and one of the worst start of the season...

Boss, hii ni marathon. You don't have to lose two games in a row and they win every game. There are 25 games remaining. Choose your pick. 6 points ni kidogo.

I have seen teams blow eight points lead in the last five matches! Anyone remember how Manutd blew it few seasons ago or Arsenal after Eduardo's injury?

6 fixtures in Dec starting today - 4 at home...this is normally the time when the men are separated from the boys due to the congested fixtures list. Teams that have good depth normally survive while teams with a lot of injuries suffer...

I won't mind seeing Liverpool and City playing Thursday night football, but that will just hand the title to Chelsea on a silver platter

Ballon d'Or shortlist has been unveiled

Player of the Year
1. Cristiano Ronaldo
2. Lionel Messi
3. Manuel Neuer

Coach of the Year
1. Joachim Low
2. Carlo Ancelotti
3. Diego Simeone

Neuer is my obvious pick for the players award and Low for winning the World Cup.

both are not marketable, too dull - I expect christiano and simeone to carry the day.
