Now even the pollsters are doubting some aspects of their polls. Can we then trust them when even the owners have started doubts?

Wolf, a research consultant regularly contracted by Ipsos Synovate Group said almost all poll companies have posted figures showing that 95 per cent of the people they approached for polling purposes are registered voters.

Yet, only about two thirds (14.3 million) of the eligible Kenyans (22.5 million) are registered to vote. This makes the total percentage of registered voters 63 per cent against the eligible percentage of 100.

“Most of these respondents could be lying to us. If indeed they are lying, one could say Kenyans do not generally like to come out honest on such matters. They always want to be on the correct side of history,” Wolf said.

I hear they pay the respondents to participate....could be the reason they lie.

"Dr.Kenyatta, I wish to offer my humble congratulations for your having been confered with a well deserved Ph.D., a feat hitherto unheard of in Kenya. Now Sir, we do hope you are enjoying every bit of the celebrated Arab hospitality, and look forward to receiving you back. Meanwhile the country is on rails moving smoothly like clockwork under the wise and able leadership of HE, the Acting President, except for the normal activities of Al Shabaab. They killed some 28 people, mostly civil servants, including a couple of security personnel. The acting president has vowed to get the killers even if it means going to Somalia - it's unbelievable we are not yet there. And on another note it should make you immensely gratified Mr.Wolfe/Wulf/Woolf/Would of Ipsos has dropped a bombshell for your opponents. Your popularity rating has shot through the roof while your main opponent's has plummetted irrecoverably. If this is not a proof of the wananchi's appreciation for the giant strides we've made since Apr/13,in every field -economy,education, transport, transperant financial dealings, antitribal policies, security, to mention a few what does that mean? Rest assured the Chief Chef and Mr.Dintend Findows have the security situation under total control.

. Enjoy your working holiday, Your Excellency."
