The way i understand it, is we have homegrown terrorists and those coming from Somalia and lastly their sympathizers right here. To improve the security situation in the country there needs to be more effort from the citizenry to come forward with information no matter how irrelevant they think it is. Case in point, during the lamu attacks it is well documented that some of the attackers spoke fluent Swahili. That means some were Kenyans. From which families, neighbourhoods and clans did they come from? Is it possible that none of their relatives and friends never noticed that they had become militant? Then there are the sympathizers who provide logistical support e.g how did the foreign bandits gain entry into the country. A good example on how to fight this evil is to use similar tactics as used on the mungiki and sdlf. Let the local communities support the operation without coming up with excuses about profiling and human rights. If they're not willing round everyone up and weed them out and gather information on those with suspected links. The buggers must be celebrating on how we have turned on each other instead of focusing on them.My two Zim dollars

As for Shabaab, it's we saw the dead bodies, they don't have to say anything!!! @ McR, the military the world over doesn't work like that i.e. parading bodies of their enemies to show accomplishment. War is half propaganda and half action. So why have they attempted to display pictures that are irrelevant to this particular event!!!!....it takes a lot of effort to have many citizens believing in what the shabaabs say and taking what the garment is saying with a pinch of salt, tells how low we have fell in matters security!!!! One thing for sure that Kenyans fail to understand or pretend not to, is that it does not matter who holds the security docket, which army general is leading or even who is the president: So long as terrorists and their apologists (alphadoti and the likes) are around we will continue to suffer. Israel has one of the best security apparatus in the world and every now and then they get bombed into smithereens. How about a country like Kenya? Tuwache mchezo the fight does not begin at the top, it starts with the likes of alphadoti et al who know who the terrorists are and where they are. @kratos, you're such an entertainer. You mean I'm more informed than the so called intelligence, sometimes you flatter me too much

Your noting of how a weekend was spent to me is indicative of recovery. So is noting the staleness of photos being presented as fresh.
