todays purchase may have been fueled by pride, but I actually bought more of this stock and after sinking in all available information I have decided that I shall continue to buy into the near term.. My move is highly evaluated and highly risky.. It may lead to unimaginable losses but then again it could lead to unrestrained gains.. Im no longer asking any wazuan to join me, im flying this plane solo, kamikaze style :)

Enjoy the ride bro. I love your guts. Iam sure you will come back with good tales of how the skyline was. You are not solo, CS treasury may add some cash for more fuel while the dutch brothers may chip in for snacks.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

is it safe to assume that all the money of the rights issue was 'eaten up' by these losses?

Obiero. you may succeed... but it will take many years. unless a miracle happens somewhere, then it may take a few years.

@aguytrying its not safe to assume that.. Negative profit (sic) ate up into the P&L as a result of the 5.4B revaluation of unwanted aircraft that were sold, further negative growth was caused by same government not refunding the KES 2.8Btax owed from purchase of new craft.. -2.6B is the 'valid' loss that was incurred in H1 as a result of the stagnation in tourism across most high traffic routes due to varied factors including terrorism and Ebola.. Going forward, there are much less headwinds

actually the timing of offloading the B772s is just perfect. Due to the 778 coming in soon, most big carriers will soon flood the market of these workhorses. New equipment, new terminal, added zeal by govt to bring in tourists, and fuel prices at historical lows, I can see KQ coming back strong.

Indeed @Horton. KQ now has the youngest fleet in Africa. Upto 20% increased operational efficiency of the 787 and investment clarity will soon dawn on this share that is at its lowest trading price since the year 2003..

@obiero, you will be pleased to know that the AGM which was to start at 10am is just commencing. Now you should not wonder any more why flights are late, why the 787 s were late. Capt Michael Karanja is the MC, which is a great thing.
