You don't release all kinds of suspects [including capital offences] on bond and expect justice to be served. These criminals go back to the society and intimidate (or even kill) everyone and their cases never go anywhere!
........
Show me a country where an individual suspected of "hacking some people" is released on bail and I will show you a country in need of prayers!!!

I think its the same country where police never seem to have any evidence in court for any case. Even the policeman who shot someone on TV. They somehow couldn't get the bullet.

Your politics and goggles might be blinding you but we are actually agreeing on something here. If you could only take off your goggles long enough!!!

In your reply here, you haven't said anything, just admitted defeat. However I agree with you that Murder and other capital offences should never be bailable!

That said, which country is that where the President is accused of murder. The one I know, he's accused of INSTIGATING.. two very different things.

And to use the TV example, there is a former Prime Minister, on TV! uttering words that led to death. but he's still an eye-sore around.

This is exactly what is wrong with Kenya!!!

Paragraph 1: "You just admitted defeat...". Was there a competition? About what? Must there be winners and losers? I was saying that I have a problem with how things are being done in Kenya (releasing capital offence suspects on bail). alma also has a problem with the way things are done in Kenya (corrupt/clueless/incompetent prosecutors). Bottom line - It's difficult/near impossible for justice to be served in Kenya. We agree? Winners/losers wa kupeleka wapi??

Paragraph 2 and 3 - Politics!!! I hate that!!! Every discussion must be politicized?? Sijui Uhuru, sijui Raila, Sijui nani... How did they even come into this? My problem was parts of the constitution and the judicial process in Kenya!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Actually@maichblack, the katiba is fine. The Judge can always deny bail when there are compelling reasons. Case in point, the Githurai cop and George Thuo trial.

Sadly, politics in kenya is the prism through which we view everything. Remember Mpeketoni ? The president declared its the opposition and not terrorists who attacked mpeketoni. Now the insurers won't pay the victims since it wasn't a terrorist attack.

It was a serious blunder to introduce the African to democracy.

Relax. Emotions (And !!!) won't do you much good. Level headedness might. Where did goggles come in, if you deemed you were talking about the same thing albeit from two different angles?

As for politics, everything is political. Everything in life. When you open your eyes, you might just see that. I'll give you a simple example... look at your friends. They are your friends not because of some form of qualification, but because of how they make you feel. That, my friend, is political

Eish @Mukiri! 'Because of what they make you feel' is political? As someone said, 'Google is your friend!'. And in any case, this is what I was alluding to earlier. You can say anything to 'win'.

You know the kind of politics I'm talking about! The one you can't discuss the weather without someone bringing in Raila, Uhuru, Ruto etc.

And politics is not necessarily bad. It's the approach and beliefs that are the problem. Having your life, discussions, reasoning etc. revolving around politicians. Even when your wife puts too much salt in your food it must be Raila's fault! Or Uhuru or whoever!

The youth protest the death of a criminal by killing the innocent. They do not raise their voice on the killing of the cleric Sheikh Mwarangi since he was not a supporter of terrorism. Adds up
Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...
