The captain and goalkeeper of South Africa's national football team has been shot dead while trying to protect his pop star girlfriend from intruders, officials said.

This is indeed very sad and quite unfortunate.The whole country is in somber mood.May his soul rest in peace.
There is a theory that this was was murder planned by the wife though police are treating this as a normal robbery.
ION I like the way the society here appreciates and loves the local football.The other games FA,Premier league et al come second.
