For crying out loud stop drifting away from the main issues here. Forget about how KTN presented the story, the legal effects and scares by the broadcaster, the involvement of Car Track or even the technicians used to prove that the gadgets were not fitted and that there was an employee who stole confidential client data.

Data acquired illegally to expose fraud is more beneficial to Kenyans than legally acquired data exposing nothing. Remember how Kenyans learnt about Anglo Leasing? It was thru illegally acquired data.

Again whether KTN later edited stuff they were airing is not the point coz they could have done so to protect themselves. Remember they were raided once.

I personally believe the following points were made by the expose:-

the Company (Track It) is behaving in a questionable manner
The GM/MD confessed on camera unless (unless you've never met him physically)
The dude was caught on camera trying and bribing the reporters.
The few clients including the MPs confirmed that the same gadgets were not fitted into their vehicles

I also agree Nagila does a thorough job but how is the govt using this investigative data that is collected esp the one about the non-existent Afro Asian Investments Co?
