Aftershocks in Haiti measuring 6.1,6.5 miles deep with the epicentre a mere 60 Kms South-west of Pot-au-Prince....Cayman islands,1000 km away from Haiti has also been hit by a 5.8 magnitude quake....All this coming after what happened in Haiti a week ago and quake experienced in California recently,are we headed for the big one?....What is happening?(No Pat Robertson theories).....Came across this too from a blogger and wish to ask if this is scientific or just some fantasy

I personally believe that what is happening is a result of the earth crossing the gravity disk of the milky way galaxy. We cross this disk about every 4,000 years, and calamities take place each time. This is why ancient cultures have remembered it, and predicted that 2012 will be devastating in several ways.

We are also in a period of very low sunspot activity which is very rare.
The earth began a 7 year passage across this paper thin disk in mid 2009, and quakes began hitting us in 2008, and are getting more frequent.
I predict that they will increase in intensity, and frequency until we are at dead center in dec. 2012, and they will then weaken as we leave the disk in 2015.

The sun began its 33 year crossing about 1985 and will be out of it in about 2018..

So I ask all:
Look at a global galaxy, and a disk shaped galaxy like ours, and ponder the forces it takes to pull an entire galaxy into a disk from a vast fuzzy ball, realizing that we are crossing the source of that force. What do you think that force is doing to our tectonic plates, weather patterns, and ice shelves?
I believe it is similar to a huge tidal effect that is tugging at the earth, sun, solar system, asteroid belt, keiper belt, oort cloud, and spiral arm.
Believe what you want, but when these quakes increase in numbers, new objects appear in the solar system, and weather changes more drastically, you may want to remember this.And yes new objects are seen out past neptune, and object activity is increasing.
The government wont feel like broadcasting it. They dont want a panic, so they are hiding this as much as possible, and want you to buy into the global warming jazz, which also has some affects
