Uhunye did it so that he identifies with the citizenry, which ain't bad at all. But don't for a second think he goes around queuing and taking out his ID to be served.
Isn't that what politics is all about. PUBLIC RELATIONS? I dont understand why Wazuans keep pointing out, PR as a non issue. Thats the core of politics and as a politician you should always be on the good side
Well said.
As a politician you can be a megalomaniac, but hiyo megalomania upeleke nyumbani kwako kwa bibi, concubines na watoto wako. As a public figure not only must you obey the law, but must be seen to obey the law. Winning the hearts of the public means enduring inconveniences you would rather not, but these are the hurdles on the paths of power. Thats why David Cameron sometimes uses the train, Uhuru shakes hands on the streets and drops in for Nyam Chom at Kajiado. Wetang'ula displayed first rate idiocy but not being humble. Now we get even more evidence that he is an arrogant, unreasonable oaf. Bungoma people might be too removed to care, But if Wetang'ula has designs for office on the national stage, he should know other Kenyans are watching, and not all of them use tribal or 'eating' arithmetic when deciding who to vote for. Ask Waititu. His over-the-top theatrics forced some middle class types to temporarily switch off tribal wiring and cast for Kidero. Hate them or like them, Uhuruto have a first-rate PR machine that has no match in Africa. It is a very high bar being set before our very eyes, and if this is how Wetang'ula handles affairs in public being a leading light of the opposition, then they will gaffe their way to a catastrophic loss come 2017.
He should sell his prospecting blocks, add to the japanese fiasco stash and buy a private jet.
