If I'm Uhuru (and luckily I'm not) I wouldn't waste my time going to Luo Nyanza. There are no votes to gain there even in future. Same reason you don't see Obama going to Texas. Anyway he will get most of the fence sitters' votes from other counties through this visit.

I agree with the Wazee Wa Mji.

When I heard the news that he is going my first thought was why go when Raila is away ? To me it boarded on Uchokozi given who Raila is in that area. A little Courtesy will not hurt.
