Its a shame how incompetent Kenyan sports officials are. Its also a shame that there is no insurance scheme for players on national duty.

Having said that, I agree that player contracts should be now be voided. Their performance did not warrant those big paycheques.

If KRFU wants to move Kenya rugby to the next level, they should invest in the grassroots and in youth. Paying players massive salaries will not move Kenya to the next level. Kenya will still often lose 50-0 to Fiji and the likes aka Kenya at 50.

There is a scheme in place currently. What the players wanted is an increase in the amount covered to IRB standard.

Not sure if this topic should be under Sports or Politics, gauging by Kenyan's love of politicising anything successful.

the vultures have swooped in! A friend of mine was called for trials of kenya 7s some time back... he showed up there and people were asking the guy to toboka cash! REALLY? what soccer demons have possessed your beloved rugby ama imekuwa game ya 'kila mtu'? Sad!!
I remember once (the only time) when I was younger I was asked to travel to Nai for trails - they paid my fare! they took us to 'kambi' and I was glad to be a burden to the tax payer... what the hell? how do you ask a student for money? really? SAD!

Group A: New Zealand,Samoa,France,Japan
Group B: South Africa,Kenya,Wales,American Samoa
Group C: Fiji,Australia,Scotland,Portugal
Group D: England,Canada,Argentina,USA

This season is crucial. The four teams at the top of the series standings willhave a direct ticket to 2016 Olympics Games.

Hope were are not going the Kenya cricket way with all the drama happenning in rugby sevens.

I read somewhere ati players were threatening to defect to Uganda. Which is funny because I dont think Uganda has better insurance.
