That was poor fielding. This FIFA Statute that states the Govt should not 'interfere' with running of soccer affairs is the beginning of many problems. If FIFA itself is corrupt, dealing with structural issues related to corruption in Kenya is a non-starter. If the GoK is going to fund such, they have to be involved in administration, oversight or audit of the funds with powers to carry out actions against corrupt officials.

He is the problem. There are short term and systemic issues. Long term, I hold FIFA statues are at the core of the problem. All one has to do is bribe delegates and win the FKF post from where it's impunity galore Nyamweya style. The GoK cannot do anything to hold these buggers accountable. He can go and we get a worse individual. Fix the root cause.

Yaani it took FKF Shs. 6m to fly in those international players? They should have just fielded one team either Gor, Tusker or AFC Kenya players, players who have played together and they would have done much better and as an incentive, give them the 6m to share. NKT!! BBI will solve it :)

They will ban us, By the time FIFA will be lifting the ban, we may be way better than before the ban. We could then start walloping kina Malawi, Lesotho etc and play serious friendlies. It's not like if they ban they'll be no football activities within our borders!!

Kenya also has a useless visionless sports minister who does not even know anything about sports. Its bad enough that the country has a corrupt FKF chairman. But even the sports minister cant help. Makes you wonder how these people justify collecting their colossal paycheques each month.

I think our press didn’t capture this rescue, a commentator in the article thinks Africa is a sewage pool of disgust, the continent was tribal based before they drew up modern country boundaries. In a lot of areas modern geographical boundaries are moot if best. Wanyama rescued from irate fans as Kenya suffer shock lossCaptain Victor Wanyama had to be rescued from irate fans who invaded the pitch in Nairobi on Sunday as Kenya suffered shock elimination from African Nations Cup qualifying at the hands of tiny Lesotho. The Southampton midfielder was shepherded to safety by police after Kenya were held to a goalless draw and Lesotho held on to their 1-0 advantage from last month’s first leg of the playoff tie. http://news.yahoo.com/wa...ock-loss-064642217.html

It is a shame that am not spectating our national team participating in qualifiers.
Earlier on, Cameroon whipped Ivory Coast 4-1. Our neigbours Uganda doing well leading Guinea 2-0 at half time.

The cause of kenya's constant shame and humiliation is Sam Nyamweya.
Kenya govt should charge him with corruption. There is plenty of evidence against him. I mean this guy once sold the Harambee stars bus that was donated. And I personally know a player who told me that Nyamweya disappeared with his transfer bonus when he was signed by a foreign team.
Charge him then give him the option of either going to jail or quitting. Cameroon tossed their chairman in prison on corruption charges.
FKF needs a fresh start with competent people in charge.

DR Congo shocks Ivory Coast 4-3 in Abidjan. Incredible game. Nigeria picked up their first win by beating Sudan 3-1 in Abuja. Our neighbors Uganda losing momentum. They went down by a solitary goal to Togo in Lome.

Morocco set to withdraw from hosting 2015 Afcon over ebola fears. South Africa, Ghana and Egypt ready to host. Where is Nyamweya to bid for this?

Morocco will not host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations because of its fears over the Ebola outbreak elsewhere on the continent, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) has confirmed. Caf expelled Morocco, who would have qualified as hosts, from the finals. It did not announce a new venue for the tournament, due to take place from 17 January to 8 February. But BBC Sport understands three nations have expressed an interest and the new host will be confirmed on Wednesday. Morocco had been given until Saturday to make a final decision on whether or not it would host the tournament. It had asked to postpone the competition until 2016. Egypt has stated it will not host the tournament for "economic and political reasons", while 2013 and 2008 hosts South Africa and Ghana have also ruled themselves out of contention.

I do not understand why CAF could not postpone. And I thought CAF had other countries lined up to host it. Now Angola have also withdrawn
