Were the MPs planning to travel to The Hague for President Uhuru’s status conference case lured into making their decision? Corridors has established that those who showed at the Dutch Embassy were given Sh200, 000 while a million bob was handed to those who were given their visas. It is also reported that the cabinet secretaries are in the loop, making a mockery of a government position that everyone was to cater for their expenses. Well if you don’t know, the amount is on top of the travel expenses, hotel accommodation and meals, not forgetting their adventure while in the city.

===

So, is Cord planning to whip their lawmakers who want to accompany President Uhuru to The Hague? An insider within the coalition was heard whispering that Cord chiefs are not happy with the MPs seen at the Dutch Embassy on Friday. Last year, however, Cord leader Raila said the coalition's MPs were free to accompany the suspects as “tourist to The Hague”.

I expect kamwana to request to address the court. Since the court is struggling to get his mobile no.and other details, can't he just ask OTP to request this info directly 4rom him? Or it has to come from GOK? GOK which admits they have reached a deadlock

I'm I missing something.The evidence does not have the telephone number of the accused?

Even our police in their not so good investigations manage to get this preliminary details.

His counsel cannot allow him. In any case, the prosecutor will claim he has not given all if they find nothing incriminating.

Is it just me who is feeling this ICC is playing hard ball? Nimeanza kuhofia Kamwana wetu.

Hata Githu amekatazwa kuwa Amicus.

@Thuks, I ain't no lawyer but let me ask, how does the OPT expect someone to incriminate themselves?

On account Kenya's non compliance/cooperation, they can not get on Uhuru.
But as regards allegations of interference with witness, I am not too sure.

Why should Uhuru volunteer this information?It is not the responsibility of Uhuru to prove himself innocent but that of the prosecution to prove him guilty.In fact we are not at trial stage yet.

I guess the rules change when one goes to the international arena? Or when you have bensaidia as prosecutor you are supposed to just accept the charges and move on?

How is the prosecutor determining that there is a deadlock, thought since she's a contestant (with AG) on the matter at hand, its the court to find whether there's a deadlock or not.

It is our opinion that you decided to run for presidency with the sole aim of using your position to interfere in your case. The court therefore confirms new charges against you: Witness interference,destruction of evidence and disrespecting the court. Your case begins in November. Wakes up from dream! Please Lord protect our president!

Walker can't/will not be detained at the Hague, at least not at this juncture!
