If we can come up with solutions on increasing earnings and security of the citizens then local clubs will flourish.

More support is just one plank...
More support = more advertising opportunities for companies = better sponsorship deals = better earnings for players and coaches = more motivation and dedication = better futa for all.

There is also management of soccer...
Better management at national level = better vision for national teams/clubs = well organized league = properly working disciplinary/grievance system = more security for matches = less hooligans = more people enjoying matches = even more support Etc

Just thinking...
Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

The onus is on the clubs have to do their ground work and attract fans. If you opened a business today, how would you attract customers?
What they offer as a package is not attractive. Football is not about the dribbling on the pitch, I would even say that the game on the pitch is only 10% of the offering.

BBI will solve it :)

I havent watched European game since the late 1990s. I might if FIFA reduces the number of players from 11 to 10. smile

In kenya football clubs are just part of the sponsoring company's csr, they have zero identities as football clubs

Tusker was well received when they played home games in Meru. The crowds were huge and excited. It was the first Nairobians may be spoiled but People in mashinani are craving local football.

There is a certain documentary(forgotten the name) which shows how the big clubs ganged up to make the EPL what it is now...watch it and therein lies your answer...
