Good people, has any of you used supplements that are promoted by 'Forever Living'? How effective are they? Most people talking highly about the products are themselves distributors and therefore not necessarily objective.

Hi. I have used them for a few years, and not a distributor. I like them. Good quality

Am a distributor and user of the products. So am probably biased when I say they are wonderful products. It's really up to you to decide whether to use the products or not. I have testimonials about the efficacy of the products to fill a bucket, and then some. If you are serious about the products, drop my partner a line on 0722704355 or email Jane at jane@ssmk.net for a product presentation.

I've tried in vain to find an article about Golden Neo-Life Diamite International (GNLD) that I saw almost a year ago that was very informative.

I have family in GNLD and there's also this Oriflame but at the crux of it aren't they all multi-level marketing companies. From my memory, they are characterised by:
-products that are more expensive due to upto 50% sale commissions
-brand that's built by taking advantage of close personal relationships (family, friends etc)

At the time company was doing quite well. Wonder though between GNLD, Oriflame, Forever Living etc; which products are above the rest?

True, the products are more expensive. I do wonder, though, as the founder of a company, between MLM and the normal way of running things, how do you decide which way to go? I think the products would have been cheaper if not on MLM, since as @muganda says, 30 - 50% of the price is commissions.

@ Muganda

Hard to say which one is on top though many people say they are all quality stuff...I think oriflame is a bit different since they specialise on cosmetics...as for Forever and GNLD, hard to tell...I would go for GNLD, probably coz it's been there longer and its prices are lower...

Many MLM products are actually very good. What i find questionable is the MLM model itself. I think it assumes that everyone just wants to sell. How about those who want to create/produce? I must admit though that MLM is great at making consumers great product-evangelists as well

I've enquired from my doctor friends on the efficacy of these supplements and their opinion was that they r usually overhyped. One assured me that most of these supplements are available in our diet esp the traditional foods and hence no need for taking supplement unless one has been diagnosed with a deficiency.

As for MLM this is about exploiting your well known buddies or relas who may afford this kind of price exagerrated products to make money ostensibly for u n them. You only need to look at the way you need to recruit guys to climb on the lucrative stages to realise just how shrewd u need to be on MLM.It is one sure way of making money from commissions from ur downlines without moving a finger after you've done enough of recruitment. But again after you read the "Richest man in Babylon" how many guys do you know who have made fortunes from this type of biz esp in third world.Pray Sad

My advice is that when u join be sure to know how u will come up with friends who r moneyed and are also willing to do the marketing and demos for a successful venture. If u r able to come up with a sizeable number then it can be a win-win for you n ur downlines.Wish u the best as some info from this MLM comes up after u join. For some its "free" but u need to buy a minimum amount of products to qualify for recruitment of downlines.

I sat for once and thought of where I am employed, it is indeed a PYRAMID - coz I work very hard hoping to rise to management level and beyond. Think of it that way; that's life...a PYRAMID!!
