Now if we would ban all Sudanese from Kenya, the nightclubs in Westlands would be empty and booze prices would surely drop!

Westlands? nay, maybe Simmers and other similar ratchet town joints.

Tembea Skyluxx and other similar establishments.

Yes, they definately there but not in enough numbers to change the core dynamic.

Examples:

Skylux = Naijja & USIU,
Gypsy & Havana = Indians & expats,
Treehouse=Indian,
K1 & Bacchus =Kenyan,
Mercury=Kenyan,
Capital Club=Kenyan
Bavaria=Kenyan
Crooked Q=Kenyan
Black Diamond=Cosmopolitan
Caramel=Expat & upwardly mobile

etc

S.J=Mukiri,Alphadoti,Tycho,Muriel,Simonkabz,Guka

What is "S.J"? d'oh!

Was I wrong about the age bracket of these two: @ecstacy and @swenani? I used to host some clans in my house. And whenever they went to the city, they used to come with news of "new club", "new joint", "some celeb" etc etc. And the age was between 22-27 years old smile Applause

It's okay brothers, you'll outgrown this madness (if it does not kill you especially @swenani's fishing)

Absurd! So they expect the NGO's and foreign companies to continue pumping cash into their country? This goes a long way to demonstrate how they view other people from different nationalities and explains how comes quite a number of Kenyans have died there.
Am sure even if the ban is reversed the locals will now more than ever think its their right to "take back" their country and "companies"

Exactly....foreigners will start being harassed by tomorrow....there is already too huge a feeling of entitlement without contributing to nation building...chida

You wrong on so many levels, views so narrow minded, reflective of your experiences, as few as they are, as judgmental as religious rigor has you fixated on. All I can say is that you really need to travel beyond your Masjid.

WHICH LOCALS????????

South Sudan is not banning all foreign workers. It is banning foreigners from certain specific positions..

Stupid decision all the same given a looming famine..

Quote:
“We are asking organisations to consider those positions where South Sudanese qualify. Where they don’t qualify, let the foreign workers do the job. We are not telling them to eject foreign workers. There is no such policy within the government of South Sudan.”

This contradicted an earlier notice by South Sudan Labour Ministry asking private firms and non-governmental organisations to dismiss foreign workers from executive directors to receptionists and replace them with South Sudanese nationals.
Mr Mawien Makol Ariik, the South Sudan Government Spokesman

Children drown at night in the knee deep mud. I guess this conflict will leave the Nuer population several decades behind the rest of their countrymen. None is going to school, most are IDPs. Riek Machar has really screwed them but they still follow him like sheep.
