I see a few governors have embraced these technologies that are taking root in many 3rd world countries:
TOP-SEAL:
DIRT-GLUE
Maybe the days of impassable rural roads will soon be gone. Wazua tenderpreneurs should make presentations to their Mpigs and Governors.
They go by various names...PROBASE, TOP-SEAL, CHIP-SEAL,DUST-CONTROL, DIRT-GLUE etc.
Far much durable than murram, since the surface can harden as much as a rock. Mumunya Munya is already on it.

I believe in development, I abhore backwardness, and I would love to see a Kenya that inspires other nations and states, not the other way round.

I was once asked about this technology which is apparently used in South Africa but had not heard of it. Next time I'll have an answer. Thanks @kabz

How affordable is it? There is this ka rural road back home I would even mobilise a few of us to build it ourselves. My grand father died while still waiting for the govt to make it. At this rate, I might also die waiting for this thing called govt.

Its about time certain spheres are de-mistifyed ..road works is one of them ..it should be done on a micro-scale..next should be energy and power generation...and all the others that are hyped on top of ivory towers...let there be disruption ...like what equity is doing...this is power of information...by being online from youtube...am liking this..now can some clever fellas R&d an equivalent material from local sources...may be sand or some sap from an indegenious tree?
