Muriel, those are assumptions. And assumptions are dangerous. Your story is a blanket issue on dealing with dangerous criminals.

The family in this case is insisting this a is a case of an extremely rogue cop who shot their children one of who was a mathare united player of good repute after he was to be a witness in another case.

That's why I say, its important to listen to the evidence.

The family has been on this case since last year in April. I rememver seeing protests in the same githurai for the same young men against the same cop.

That's why I say, wait for the evidence. It's rare that cops arrest their fellow cops. So being careful before judging anyone in this case is the proper thing to do. Let the people of Githurai go to work whilst the DPP now does his job. We may be shocked at the findings.

Alma,

Yes and no.

First, no, I am not assuming because I said "It is my considered opinion".

Then yes, because I was speaking generally and not necessarily about this particular matter at hand.

Got you Muriel

For me these are the kind of cases that change the judicial system forever. From witness protection programs to cops arresting their favorite cop to makangas supporting cops.

But the thing that will stand out is how a family can stick to a story and insist on their own brand of justice after so many years.

It will change how cops work. I can even see the family suing even after the criminal case is over.

Just food for thought for our law enforcers out there.

It's also dangerous if it is ever shown that the boys were actual criminals.

Double edged sword and you trust not the cops nor the families. Just the evidence.

The DPP Keraiko Tobiko believes the cop is guilty of murder, that he killed the witness who was scheduled to testify against him in cold blood.

I know little about this case but the fact that one of the parties has taken to social media doesn't sit well with me.

May justice be served.

Much as I want these thugs eliminated, this guy went overboard! This is a complicated case. The cases I know where thugs are outed involves lots of intelligence, surveillance and pursuit to catch the KNOWN GOONS red-handed!

What is wrong with us? The residents say this boy was confirmed as a crook who was in the gang terrorizing citizens. Now I can see those corrupt police eating from the gang want to fry their colleague, yawah!!

This is an easy case. The public is usually anti -police so I think the liquidated suspects must have been criminals.
The solution lies in tying the loose ends. Some volunteers should fix that.
