I think Falcao is a really good signing but LVG still needs to sign a quality defensive midfielder!

I think he's done it. Daley Blind played as a defensive midfielder primarily in Ajax. He was utilised as a left back and a left wing back by Van Gaal in the Dutch team.

Javier Hernandez is currently having a medical at Real Madrid. Welbeck is also expected to leave.

Incase you are wondering what Wenger is upto

"He's allegedly at Heathrow Airport waiting for a flight to Rome where he is refereeing - yes, really - a charity game this evening. Haven't you got anything more important on your hands Arsene?"

Chelsea wasted Torres. I hope you are old enough to have watched him playing for Liverpool. Torres is a machine, the handlers at Chelsea are untrained. Ni hayo tu

Forgive him for he knows not what he's talking about. Hata Spanish national team, he was pants by then, and had been dropped in favour of David Villa.

C&P

"Goal understands that United will pay a €12.5 million-plus loan fee for the 28-year-old in addition to a significant portion of his €375,000-a-week Monaco wages."

That's a hefty price to pay especially the wages. Even 50% of those wages is something like 150k pounds per week!!!

Anyway, with RvP's obvious lack of form ( it looks like he's being troubled by an injury), Falcao will be a perfect fit as he can play upfront solo or in partnership with Rooney who looks like he could do with some competition. Major marks for Woodward there, maybe he got some tips from David Gill...

I hear goon squad may be making a late move for Reus...that will be a major coup as well. I rate the guy very highly...but I doubt he'd be enough to mount a title challenge with lack of superiority in defensive midfield

Let's face it gooners, Wenger will definitely not make any big signing before the transfer window closes. We are stuck with Sanogo for now.....

I think Wenger is senile. For the last one month or so both Falcao and Cavani have been giving hints to clubs in the BPL that they wuold like to move to England. There was a time Cavani even said he was ready to take a pay cut. Sanogo is not enough.

Utd seem to be turning their attention to Joao Moutinho after it became apparent Vidal hapatikani...for me that presents a much better (no suspicious knee concerns), cheaper and perhaps available option...
