The same way you questioning the official spokesperson, can't you also question the media source??

the media cannot be wrong... we have all our trust in them. any webforum with a popular thread titled "our hogwash press" must be on a satirical website.

Of course our Media has issues, but on this story, I would rather give the benefit of doubt to them as opposed to the other party!

http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/7buqopz/-/index.html

Quote:
The vehicle was stolen last Wednesday after its official driver, Mr David Machui, drove back home.
However, presidential spokesman Mr Manoah Esipisu immediately denied that the vehicle was under Presidential Escort, saying that it belonged to the Police Service.
Although State House has refuted claims that it was a presidential escort vehicle and that it was not armoured, it is true that the vehicle was being driven by a Presidential Escort driver when it was stolen.

MECHANIC Aggrey Odhiambo charged in Nakuru over the missing State House BMW vehicle;also accused of possessing a firearm.

How can one be charged with theft yet the object stolen wasn't recovered from him...more so it's yet to be recovered.
