Are we safe? Capital wrote:KINSHASA, Aug 22 – A fever of unidentified origin has killed 13 people in the northwestern Democratic Republic of Congo since August 11, the health minister said.
“All 13 people who have died suffered from a fever, diarrhoea, vomiting and, in a terminal stage, of vomiting a black matter,” Dr Felix Kabange Numbi said late Thursday.
So far, about 80 people who came into contact with the deceased are being monitored at their homes, he added.

It's only the other day that we saw guys in Luhyaland hunting monkeys for 'kitoweo'. Well, because some diseases are concentrated in the spinal tissues and brain, don’t cut through the backbone or eat the brains of any wild animal. Finally, keep in mind that normal amounts of bacteria can be killed by cooking meat to the correct internal temperature. In short, keep it cooking. Don't be in a hurry! There is no pretty way to die. I am totally unmoved by any sensational story of new sounding diseases that are killing people as if death is anything new. Since people started living they have always been dying and if there were any reporters at every death the story would be the same gruesome details whether the cause is flu, falling in the bathroom, malaria, heart attack etc. And since every one is going to die anyway in some not very pleasant manner the best we can do is concentrate on living and enjoying life. About 56 million people die every year in the world. That' s about everybody in Kenya and half of Ugandans every single year, gone, dead, kwisha just like that. Live!!!!!!!! Live!!!!! Until you die.

You should not listen to these reporters going by your sentiments. So you can continue enjoying life and while at it, am told Liberia too has very nice beaches, you should try them out. If you don't want to go to plan B have a good plan A.
