Everyone seems to have a question to be included.....which means we will not be voting but rather sitting for an exam!
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

I think Kenyans are used to that since most were educated in the 8-4-4 system.

I think everyone who wants something changed in the constitution should have a say so what I would propose is every interested party take the current constitution and then amend, add, subtract what they want and then submit their amended version to a referendum.

Baba and his team can have constitution Orange, the governors can have constitution banana, the doctors can have constitution mango, another group pawpaw, strawberry, pineapple, guava etc. Let everybody go and campaign for his own fruit.

So on the day of the referendum voters will have a menu where you choose one. The one that gets the most votes becomes the new constitution and then we move forward until the next menu.

This thing is mutating every day, finally we will end up with a situation unprecedented by katiba. There is no provision to have 2 referendums at once! Moreso different proposals to ammend same clauses!

I hope this referendum could happen like yesterday so we can send baba into retirement again for the tenth time.

Maybe we should also get rid of the 50+1 thing. I doesn't add so much value, after all. Does it?

That was put in place to avoid scenario like when moi used to win with 35% yet fragmented opposition had the majority at 65%. Very important 4 posterity. My suggestion is that any pork and dpork who get above15% get direct nomination to Senate and national assembly respectively, to represent their parties. We wouldn't be talking about referendum now, aliar would have taken us through a different but easier to handle crisis. Such people could become threat to national security when they are too idle

OaR's ego will not allow him to sit in the senate/Parliament. Not when he has already become the PM of Kenya! A guy who can't accept "Former PM" and still insists Bill Clinton is Mr. President...c'mon! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
