I'm normally not one to get excited by pre - season friendlies but 5 wins in 5 for LvG should worry any team - the fact that Utd have started tasting that feeling of winning that they used to enjoy frequently under Fergie. Utd will not win the league but if they aim for it they'll surely get back to the CL, moreso now that they will not experience the rigours of CL football....just like Liverpool last season. Once back in the CL, then LvG can go for the Vidal's and the rest of those overpriced players.

What the hell are you smoking @smano?????

I'm being a realist McDoba...City and Chelsea are favourites and I like the underdog tag. I don't think we're ready to challenge for the title depthwise but I also know lack of CL football will help us make a quick return to the same CL football. We aim for No. 1 and if we fall short then just as well...

As for Webb retiring...

There's the statue we have put up next to Fergie's to honour the legend that was Howard Webb for his massive contribution to the club...

Celtic thumped 6-1 on agg during the qualifiers then they come back through the backdoor coz someone at Legia forgot to do the correct book keeping

Bereszyński didn't play three times. Two times against St Patrick's and once (in Warsaw) against Celtic. The problem is Legia forgot to put him on the list of players in two games against the Irish team

City looked lethargic in that Community shield, Goons started off on a high note......as usual. They looked fluid and dangerous going forward. I would like to see Arsenal go a whole season without injuries to their key players, then tuone if they can be the real deal. Next weekend begins another season of cursing, ululations, finger biting et al as testosterone levels build up to a crescendo!

What we need is depth. Fighting on four fronts will definitely take a tall on the players. I believe we lost EPL in January this year, wish AW strengthened the squad then.
