for those of you who use KK security a word of advise. they are charging for non existent services especially those who have radio alarms. they invoice you in full every month, but do not have you connected. i have pressed my button 3 times in the last 6 months and it does not work. there excuse - technical problems! thats not an excuse when you have been robbed! i think they connect only 75% of their clients onto the radio network to save costs. after all who is going to check. its a bit like track it customers who were duped with non fitted securtiy devises in their cars! once again kenyans are being taken for a ride!!!!

Surely how hard can it be to check?
It would be a wise idea for you to get an electrician/technician to check the
equipment they've installed in your house as it could actually be a technical problem.
Right now you could either be spreading damaging rumours or saving our lives...

This is a pretty damaging rumour. I suggest you call their control room and inform them that you are testing the alarm. That way they know whether or not to send the back up team. Alternatively, just press the alarm and see if the back up team arrives at your house. If not, call for service.

KK do a darn good job in Kampala,if I'm not wrong they are the choice firm for CIT services. I hope you have double checked your facts.

Our office has been using KK Security radio alarm, with no problems, for several years. We are based in Mombasa. Their personal, also comes to check regularly,if their alarm is working. Maybe you need to talk to their manager, explaining your problem.

KK has quite a good track record and also reputaion. I Think alongside G4S,it could be very well be the best private army around. Majority of embassies especially those in Muthaiga,Runda,Gigiri area use KK,including that big complex along UN Avenue.

Much as what you are alluding to is not exactly impossible,I would like to suggest that the thrust with which you are putting this forth is misplaced and could actually be an isolated technical issue upon which you have not acted diligently.

despite all the good points KK does have. I tend to support Pops that he may be right. Think about this how many embassies and government agencies used track it services before they realized they were beign conned! They all thought that this Company looks credible through its adverts in the papers on how cars thieves had been nabbed only to realise later that track it themselves were arranging these thefts! In these times of recession even the big companies are finding ways of cutting back and it would not surprise me if Pops was right. just because the company belongs to a mzungu it does not mean its safe from fraud!
