After the completion of Thika road, you'll notice that the Chinese who undertook the project are still here, China Wu Yi is probably the biggest construction company in Kenya right now with presence in roads, real estate and anything construction. So the question is, what will the 5,000 Chinese do after the SGR is complete? I can bet you they are never going back home.

The Chinese govt maybe applying the same logic the British used against their convicts in the 18th and 19th century. These guys will hardly go back. They take over.

Its time that we realized that its a GLOBAL VILLAGE in every sense of the word! Instead of complaining about Chinese,Walalo/Somalis,Sudanese coming to Kenya & taking up jobs etc...try and go "invade" those places too. Enda tafuta kazi Tibet pia.Otherwise we shall complain about something that cant be stopped.Be ready for Kamau Chong kinda babies! Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.
