If you read the nation daily of march 10 2014, pages 32 to 34 it would give you an idea why some houses are going for a lower rate. Nssf put up a notice for repossession of houses due to unsettled arrears, tenants who know how it is done shifted from those houses and people looking for houses are avoiding those with arrears, thats one of the reason we have a hike to 32-35 and stagnation at 22-25.
The other reason fora hike is somalis and sudanese people moving into the estate in large numbers.

the 1 bedroom infill is complete. js next to gate C.. looks good but generally brings down standards of the estate since some people may think I live in the 1bed while I live in the 3bed

But it's sweet news to the current owners of the three bedroomed (akina @obiero) who get a valuation of at least ksh 10m.......

Nyayo Estate Resident Association is on the right track.. In other news, the three bedroom apartment should be worth atleast 12million, open market rate; but people are selling for as little as 7.2m
