If this land investigation goes back to 1963 - it might end up hurting the small plot guys, especially in nairobi

If you are accused of something, fight it head on stop diverting to other things. How will the list exonerate him from the 70% of lamu he/they grabbed and sold?

So far the list we have been provided of the so called Labu grabbers are nobodys and consisting of you know who from where. So where is the real list of big shots.

On Orengo approving documents for the land transactions in Lamu, let me laugh Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

It would be ideal to investigate all such deals from 1963.We must know beneficiaries of stolen land all over Kenya and even if the thieves eg Johnstone are dead, they should be jailed posthumously.Mambo ya watu owning land the size of Nyanza when it is not clear how they purchased it must stop.Mombasa beach plots in the names of Karume, Njonjo, Mahihu, Mathenge, Heritage Hotels etc should be returned to the coast people.Let Freedom stop his hypocrisy.

Ngilu should go back to the1830s when the omani Arabs colonized the east African coast and stole land from the locals. For instance, the Mazrui family owns over 200,000 acres at the coast which was allocated to them by the sultan of zanzibar during those days. Infact many absentee landlords residing in Oman and Yemen still own huge tracts of land given to them by the sultan.

Ngilu should also look at how the Portuguese acquired the land where they built fort Jesus in1591. That land where the fort stands should be given back to the original owners.

She should also go back to1500BC and see how the miji kenda migrated from the Congo/Cameroon and stole lands from indigenous hunter gatherer communities at the coast. The miji kenda should thus surrender all the land they stole at the coast.

Salaale, things are thick. So where do we draw the line? I think it should be from '63. When we became and independent republic with a constitution to govern us. Before '63 we had no katiba, so no one can be said to have 'stolen' land. Although the white man did still land then give it away to those who kissed his *ss.
