Strict application of Tonje rules would have meant that we don't keep recycling Karangi so that the lower ranks suffer!!!

The Tonje Rules allow the CDF position to rotate between the Army, Air Force and Navy so hakuna vile Otieno would have been CDF......btw he will turn 58 in November.

When Karangi retires next year the position of CDF will most likely go to a general from the Navy.

Tonje rules are applied for convenience my friend!!!

Military issues are least understood by outsiders.i would rather wish all appointed to new ranks and posts all the best in their roles than kill myself with issues that even people who are appointed have no clue until you receive orders from 'above'.

Looking at it critically, you can't take chances on some of these matters security. when babu started yapping about a shave bila water, it was about time all loopholes were sealed. Remember how it went down on moi in 82'. I don't blame freedom on some of these decisions!

It depends with the man. If a dog was to bite Obama, news tunazo hatuna??

Otieno didnot portray seriousness in the forces, too slim and fit. I always look at Karangi's stomachache and just smile to myself! But anyway we are 51 years on and counting! Anyway PORK has the last word on this and he has chosen, mutado what?
