Road Infrastructure Development Stakeholders conference - KICC

The conference was opened today. Anyone with breakdown of the 2000kms they are tarmacking this year (2014/15)...I need to know as this may influence my land investment decisions

The ministry guys will never release such info. They keep it for their own personal benefit. Small wonder that they bother to update their websites. We would even have less of road encroachment and less road land aquisation compensation.

Have just been wondering if it would have been more worthwhile to upgrade say 50,000KM of small rural roads into all-weather status rather than partly 8,000KM to tarmac. Gatanga is good example. Many times you visit some of these 'tarmacked' rural roads motorized traffic is almost non-existent, ever since everyone moved into the 'city'
