I wonder why they never get much attention despite their shocking atrocities.

What became of the Bungoma killings? Reminds me of ANGOLA MSUMBIJI or similar gang.

Biggest problem lies in how we get the news presented to us. If the issue ain't given coverage for whatever reason, we will never know of it.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

I even think we had much more killings & insecurities during mo1's time but due to kanu's mama & baba policies, these never came out, with social media and freedom of press these days, it might appear as if insecurity has increased while in actual sense it might not be the case.

I think insecurity during the grand coalition govt hit the peak, with
1. SLDF,
2. MRC,
3. Mungiki,
4. maasai land clashes,
5. Marsabit tribal clashes that killed very many
6. Alshabaab-the genesis,
7. robberies with violence
8. The height kidnappings (siku hizi sijasikia ama?)
9. the epitome of politically instigated cattle rustling-when were the 40 cops killed?
10. The killings of old men and women in kisii and coast,
11. drug related executions
12. Turkana raids by the Murle from ethiopia
13. Not forgetting the PEV
14. the necessity for extra-judicial killings to stem the run-away gangs!
15. Isiolo clashes mpaka KDF inaitwa
16. Wajir and Mandera clan fights

This time round Al shabaab wametuamulia or whoever it is, MRC and armed robberies. Things are better than before IMHO, it is just how our brains are wired..... to maintain a particular politically correct position and forget the past. I'd rather life now than then. Lamu sitaji, you all know my position.

But hey, you know the cordoo narrative has to be told and sustained for the sake of 2017...
