French firm Danone buys 40% of Brookside for undisclosed amount.

Should free up capital for purchase of Bidco, etc etc according to rumours.

I thought Bidco is not for sale? With all the cash Bidco has, they are chasing away investors with a stick. Everyone wants to invest but they don't need the cash.

And here we were all along thinking Buzeki got a great deal. This is the stuff that excites me.
Kudos Brookside.

Why would Bidco sell? They could easily move their headquarters and operations and not lose out.

BBI will solve it

WOLOLO MAYO. UK and his mum should list this firm, atleast 40% of the remaining shares.

Joint statement wrote:
A joint statement released by the two companies announcing the buyout disclosed that Brookside made Sh15.4 billion (€130 million) sales last year, a figure that would rank it third among Nairobi Securities Exchange-listed manufacturers of fast-moving consumer goods.

My question is, will these soft drinks include Soda?
