Shopping for wireless adaptors for some desktop PCs. Tech people... Any particular performance difference between D-Link and Lynksys? Got a lower quote for D-Link. Internal versus external?

Lynksys has a name since its owned by Cisco.I have however used both and I didn't notice that much of a performance difference.But lynksys looks good! Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

A simple Google search (LinkSys vs DLink) will give you tons of resources on performance test carried out. Stick to the tech forums and keep off those nasty Yahoo Answer pages.
Remember performance will also be determined by the model you choose, the network speed and bear in mind the distance too. Cheers!
