I think we are staring at a quickily ticking time-bomb at the coast...we can continue to support Cord or Jubilee; continue to hide in the safety of our gated communities and estates in urban towns; continue to pretend that that is a problem of 'others' not us 'middle, educated, civilised - class'.

But the more we play with very fabric that holds this country together, the sooner we shall discover that there is no where to run. No where to hide.

Coastal problems must become the concern and problem of every Kenyan. We should hold the politicians accountable now. We need our Kenya back. We owe to ourselves, we owe to our children.

Hiding behind one political affliation or another cant save this country. This a problem beyond Cord/Jubilee..it existed before Cord/Jubilee but has found its maturity in the current political wilderness that Kenya finds itself.

Facts are facts. Problems are problems. We can choose to face them as a country or the problems will decimate us as tribes.

Lets put Kenya first - always. Since 99.9999999% of us are here for good.

Wah! You jolted my conscience right there! Of late my patriotism is at rock bottom thanks to politics and negative ethnicity. Sometimes you dont even want to identify yourself as a Kenyan coz of the crap coming out of there.

Where I'm currently, people want to visit Uganda, Rwanda and Tz, and yet Kenya was their destination of choice a while back. Whether we like it or not, we are now a shaky ordinary african country full of warlords and headed into the past.

I have downloaded the video and audio to serve as a reminder, that there was once a country called Kenya.

And this obsession with weakening the presidency, I guess this country will soon collapse if we go on like this. The presidency is now a hungry unfed cow, with very few powers. We still want to milk it to death, remove these powers and give them to local DRUG LORDS and other criminals. This makes me very angry but Isorait.
