Hi Wasuerians,
I Maasai wants to sell me an acre for 390k two kilometers from Maasai Ostrich resort. The area has no power but looks like it might come in handy in the far future. Someone please advice. Is it too expensive for such an area?

@caveman

2km from ostrich firm? @390k for 1 acre? Why is he throwing it away? If you have seen the land and its good, the title is clean, then you collecting from a bin!

Early last year, near Saitoti's and next to Enkasiti Primary, they were going for 600k per acre though much have changed now. if its far off the road, the price may be ok. But watch out those Maasais; wamekuwa wajaja sana. I have experienced several cases where they sell one piece of land severally before the transfer has gone through or immediately you pay them some deposit.

Thank you all for your views. Actually the shamba is 800m from the current road but adjacent to where the 'legal' road should pass.
I will take appropriate precaution though.
