ANXIOUS flower farm workers traumatised by the 2007 post-election mayhem have been fleeing Naivasha in droves, afraid that the much-publicised Saba Saba rally could spark violence in which there could be loss of life and property. - See more at: http://www.the-star.co.k...ba#sthash.LoDipg2C.dpuf
This is not good at all. does it also mean where they are going they dont want to find other tribes...Who will stand up and say enough is enough...Where are the leaders we elected to take care of us!!! GOD hep your people!

I still can't get why anyone is getting jittery about saba saba rallies. If anyone thinks cord has a plan or capacity to grab 'uthamaki' on Monday, then such a person should not be allowed to vote. They are too daft to be entrusted with voting power. UMK and WSR know this too well. They want RAO to proceed with the rallies until he runs out of steam. But the online jubilee brigade is really scared.
Do you seriously believe anyone can start an Arab spring in black Africa ? If yes then your parents really wasted money educating you. This is a propaganda story started by jubilee spin doctors. Sadly, in both Nakuru and naivasha, its the jubilee supporters threatening supposed cord supporters. Jeez, if we couldn't shake moi who was governing from a politically hostile city, with all the funding from the west and the aid freeze, what makes you think anyone can shake a Kikuyu presidency through mass action ?
Now please don't respond with a counter argument. Put your money where your mouth is.
I am willing to bet 20K, that saba saba will be just another day. A charged rally at Uhuru park, then everyone goes home. The NIS knows this, the govt knows this, the jubilee politicians know this, but sadly 'educated' wazuans think their hard fought uthamaki will disappear on Monday.

Cord ‘Agenda’ for 7/7 finally out. http://www.standardmedia...saba-rally&pageNo=2
My comments on the ‘key’ points: 1.Public Service Commission – Why is Cord claiming that appointments are skewed in favor of certain communities yet they are not producing evidence? How do you accuse somebody without producing evidence, and then proceed to ask him to give you the evidence? This is preposterous at the very least, even Ocampo would score a bit better 2.IEBC – This matter has already been raised in parliament and is under deliberation. Why not wait for due process to end before commenting further 3.Devolution – who will act on this plea? Why not present a bill/petition in parliament 4.Corruption – why not report the culprits to relevant bodies for prosecution 5.National security - who will act on this plea? Why not present a bill with proposals / petition in parliament 6.Cost of living – You say inflation was too high at 7%. Do you remember for the better part of nusu mkate government, the figure was mainly in double digits! 7.Irresponsible borrowing – Cord says by 2017, every Kenyan will be indebted to the tune of 140,000. We demand a breakdown of how you arrive at this figure In other words Cord is wasting our time, but in the process losing face – a zero sum game if you ask me!!! But if this is what it takes for CORD to confirm to us beyond reasonable doubt that they cannot govern, so be it!!!

The issue here is the anxiety and unnecessary tension created by the so called rallies as you can see on that photo up there. You are making too many assumptions. @FRM2011, stop assuming your level of understanding these things is at par with those villagers out there. No it ain't. When they hear Babu talk about 'shave with no water' they see war! Otherwise right here we all know Babu is as far as getting to power like the famous camel trying to go through the niddle eye. i.am.back!!!!

Nothing will happen beyond 7/7/2014 but Kenyans just like being excited! Let CORD dance themselves silly then they go back home. Infact i really sympathize with Kalonzo and Watengula since they are throwing their careers????? (if any) down the drain with Raila's which is already finished!
