Caution is advised here In a proper bull, HF,Britam and Centum will be trading at trailing PEs of 30,40 even 50.At one point, in 2006,with an EPS of 0.51 and at a price of 45,HF was trading at a PE of 88  Now do the math. @aguy i hope you're reading this. @SufficientlyP

why is it that Britam who bought into HFCK is dropping ...isn't it supposed to be the other way round. who's leaning on who here ?

I'm already in, albeit at a higher price, I think its a sound business I can hold on for longer, I will average down.... another not very popular concept with the gurus.

Makes sense, but now that britam has HFCK in the pocket then it's value is better right ?.....i think i'l move in the opposite direction on this....see you guys @35 for britam really soon

Britam gets a stable but growing investment into which they can invest long term pension and life insurance funds. Equity gets to harvest its investment in HF, to re-invest in other market beating ventures. Remember venture capitalists own close to 50% of Equity. Life is short. Live passionately.
