Never mind Mutisya is in Germany now. Maybe he was in Mwala over the weekend Quote:Allow me to express my dissatisfaction with the newly constructed road in Machakos County which has received a lot of praise.
It is obvious that most people praising the governor are ignorant of the reality on the ground.
The road has been hailed as history-breaking both in terms of time and cost. Yet the people of Mwala might make history as the most cheated by a governor who wants to come out as development-oriented.
This is a poorly constructed tarmac road if ever there was any. An objective audit will clearly attest to this.
There is not even one single layer of tarmac as the project seems to have been under-funded or constructed in an unnecessary hurry.
There are clear patches of red earth where tarmac should be. The poorly done tarmac is already falling apart after a few days of use, while most of the ballast is still loose due to poor use of asphalt or lack of it all together.
I urge the media to take their cameras down there and witness for themselves. Would it not have been more prudent to use more cash and take adequate time to deliver a quality durable road?
The people of Mwala might not have had this privilege since independence but that does not mean they are ready to accept sub-standard projects.
It is not a favour that the county government is doing to the people; we deserve to be developed like every other region.

I am sold, Dr. Mutua should run in 2017 and I would certainly vote him ahead of UHURU or Baba.
Wonder how far ahead our country could be if UHURUTO delivered half the amounts of projects they talk about. They have a much larger war chest but spend their waking days chasing the ghost of BABA. WORD!!!! haiya, hata wewe unasupport Mutua 2017? Umeachana na kinyozi? theoretically!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

The farmers can't control the prices of their commodities to the extent of influencing infrastructure to their advantage. The idea that they have a market is false. Markets are constructed politically.
So, the people need something that can't be constructed for them.
@mkeiy, the situation is dire if a people's dictator is needed. But Africa has been full of such dictators. Wasn't Moi such a leader? Gaddafi? Why don't we have our industries flourishing?
Development and infrastructure are co-dependent, it's not that infrastructure causes development. Development is the ability of a political unit to negotiate and create markets to meet needs. @tycho. I am from Masaku . I know what i want. Not the sort you are telling us to want. Most of Africa's dictators are NOT PEOPLE'S DICTATORS. Moi. Mobotu n the ilk. However, Kagame is. Farm produce is reaching Masaku town on time and farmers pocketing better sales than before that road. How about you respect that. What am I telling you to want? Do you speak for every one else, how do you know what they want? As for produce that has always been there getting to Masaku on time, I say that's good; but not good enough. So respecting your view is not stating mine? Or me not thinking about your views? @tycho, Look at the red sentence. You claim to know what we want as Masaku people. I say what i want you start asking whether i speak for everyone else and whether i know what everybody else wants. So, how do you know what we ALL want in Masaku?
Mkeiy, pardon me for my intrusion.
You should have highlighted and emphasized the "we" instead of the "ALL". That way, your indignation will come out stronger.

I heard him speak today morning on Capital and he seems to be pressing all the right buttons, very pragmatic and seems to understand and is able to articulate the problems that Kenya gava has. If he goes against RAO and UHURU, we will certainly have a run-off, if he is in the run-off, then he wins hands down. The Nyumba will not, repeat NOT vote for anyone else. It will not happen in 2017, and will certainly not happen in 2022. The thing will turn so tribal Mutua will end up with Ukambani votes pekee. These same guys praising Mutua to no end loved Martha Karua like there was no tomorrow. They then gave her less votes than a councillor. Let's just accept reality and move on Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

And you are right, Kaos will follow Mutua or any other kao wherever he will be. The oher tribes will only follow mutua if he will be with their own. Hivo ndo kunaendaga and you can never change it.
