RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — FIFA wants proof from future World Cup teams that players are paid on time after a dispute involving Ghana was resolved by cash shipment.

FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke says action is needed after Ghana players threatened not to play Portugal on Thursday until money arrived from Africa.

Valcke says "it's sad that we end up with such a story where they were talking in some way about a strike."

The FIFA official says "the fact that the money came in cash is also sad."

The 1990 team was supposed to be Colombia's golden generation with players like Valderamma, Rincon and Andres Escobar. That was back when Colombian clubs were financed by drug barons. But their play was to slow, too deliberate, predictable and easily countered.

But this year's Colmbia team is much better. The best Colombian team I have ever seem,=. They should at least reach the semis.

As for Brazil, they are simply poor. Neymar is over-rated and a ball hog.
